Do Americans Overpay for Cellular Service?

Six U.S. consumer-oriented organizations recently put their focus on mobile costs.

The consumer advocates are backed by an OECD study concluding Americans pay the world’s highest cell phone rates. And a senator is examining whether text messaging is priced out of line. Meanwhile, the cellular industry is vigorously refuting assertions it’s anticompetitive.
